peer-to-peer exchange
An experiment event with interactive installations, live music, dance, and spoken words, on the traumatic legacy of tear gassing. This is the first project of ‘Out of Breath’ and was presented in Oct 2022, supported by Arts Council England, Wellcome Collection and Bloomsbury Festival.
Paradoxical Gasps
On the traumatic legacy of tear gassing with exhibition, film and publication - an activist programme examining public health, military history and global arms trades. Currently working towards an exhibition and seeking venue partners.
Out of Breath
A collaborative project between the global majority and migrant groups from post-colonial regions, a previous chapter with experimental theatre, audio tour and digital game was presented in Hong Kong in 2021. Currently working towards a second chapter in London and seeking community partners.

An experimental theatre production of everyday struggles and finding allyship, shortlisted for Untapped Award in 2023 - exploration on urban mental health and wellbeing. Currently working towards a touring version and seeking venue partners
Bitter Moves Sweet Truths
Community installation and durational performance on migrants’ letters and jailed activists’ letters from around the world. Presented in CCA Goldsmiths, Fitzrovia Noir, Derby Theatre, Chisenhale Dance and more. Currently seeking international collaboration and presentations.
Thousand Papers
A new sensory show for 6-24 month-olds and their grownups to explore cultural and language diversity through light and sound, inspired by onomatopoeia in different languages and early years child-led music-making. The show is a deeply embodied journey about migration and understanding a new world.
The work is a collaboration with our sister company Little Bean Theatre which will be toured across the UK alongside ‘Boh Boh Finds Home’ and ‘Radio Neighbourhood’, as a complete set of performances for people of all ages.
What's That Sound? - working title
A multilingual sensory puppet family theatre by our sister company, Little Bean Theatre, where the alien needs to find a new planet to live on. Previously supported by the Mayor of London’s Let’s Do London scheme and has been staged in festivals and theatres across the UK and in Hong Kong. Ready for tour anytime and seeking further presentations.
Boh Boh Finds Home
A dance and radio drama show on differences between first and second gen migrants, awarded Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Ideas and Pioneers Fund, and presented across six locations. Currently seeking further presentations.
Radio Neighbourhood
A musical journal in the forms of live performance and cassette, documenting angela wai nok hui’s feelings and thoughts on identity, resistance and memory. Supported by Arts Council England and Hong Kong Arts Development Council, and presented across London, Hong Kong and Utrecht.
